Ideally, you have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, data science, analytics, or a related field or have the equivalent practical experience. Technical expertise. You have 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist and are skilled with TensorFlow, Keras, scikit-learn, NumPy, pandas, and Matplotlib. You are knowledgeable about information retrieval and search engines and have experience with Solr and Lucene. You are familiar with NLP toolkits (Spacy, NLTK), distributed computing platforms (Hadoop, Hive, HBase, Pig, Spark), and databases such as SQL/NoSQL. Communication and collaboration skills. You thrive in collaborative, Agile environments and enjoy working cross-functionally. You’re a hands-on, pitch-in-wherever needed person who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves to get the job done.
