Who we need
We are looking for someone who’s a chronic learner, an assertive communicator, and an excellent collaborator to join our team. You enjoy deep-diving into the latest ML and data science research and are eager to apply modern ML/deep learning frameworks in a solution that’s used by thousands of consumers and some of the country’s largest financial institutions. You are naturally curious, solutions-oriented, and are excited to use data to better understand consumer behaviour.

What you bring:
The education. Ideally, you have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, data science, analytics, or a related field or have the equivalent practical experience. Technical expertise. You have 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist and are skilled with TensorFlow, Keras, scikit-learn, NumPy, pandas, and Matplotlib. You are knowledgeable about information retrieval and search engines and have experience with Solr and Lucene. You are familiar with NLP toolkits (Spacy, NLTK), distributed computing platforms (Hadoop, Hive, HBase, Pig, Spark), and databases such as SQL/NoSQL. Communication and collaboration skills. You thrive in collaborative, Agile environments and enjoy working cross-functionally. You’re a hands-on, pitch-in-wherever needed person who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves to get the job done. You share knowledge, voice your opinion, and listen to the ideas of others. The drive. You want to build a great product and are ready to put in the work to do so. You are committed to delivering work that’s high-quality and on schedule.

Balance. We’re at a stage of high growth and we’re all hands on deck. With remote working and flexible hours, we trust our teams to get the job done without sacrificing critical personal time.
