The Opportunity We are looking for a QA professional who is passionate about testing and test automation and the role of QA in a high-performing team. To succeed in this role you must champion quality, testability, test automation, and stand up for the interests of end users while being pragmatic to optimize implementation time. Responsibilities - Apply user-focused testing as features are developed and prior to releases. - Develop automated tests for key workflows and to reduce repetitive work. - Develop and document test scripts for manual testing. - Collaborate with the rest of the team on the improvement of our release process to ensure we maximize quality. Be vocal and constructively find ways to prevent problems from recurring. - Participate in the design and development of new features and products. Required Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a similar technical field, or equivalent job experience. - At least 3 years of experience in a SQA automation position at a software company. - An understanding of web technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript and how modern web and mobile apps are built and tested. - Experience with web and mobile automation testing; eg Selenium Webdriver, Appium - Experience with JIRA or a similar bug-tracking tool. - A mind-set suitable for a start-up.
