Your Role & Main Responsibilities Be the owner of the AI Strategy for your portfolio Understand all key business objectives of CAE and how AI can accelerate the business strategy Partner with business journey owners & executives and take ownership of the overall AI aspect of product management: develop, present, prioritize, and lead the implementation With the platform owner, lead the tool & asset development strategy to support AI solutions Be a key contributor to the business transformation Drive research on aviation & healthcare industry trends and the commercial applications of machine learning to be a differentiator in the market Lead multiple service-oriented large-scale machine learning related projects: from functional to the implementation plan Lead a team for rapid and iterative development of validated minimum viable solution Develop and prototype new machine learning techniques, run experiments to improve comprehension and model efficiency rate Be an inspirational and motivational colleague Contribute to the collaborative and stimulating work environment Be a change agent & Agile mindset promoter Be connected with the AI & Product Community in Montreal and beyond to identity new opportunities for collaboration and to infuse new ideas in our pipeline Your Qualifications Softskills Expert in creating business case, use cases, storytelling and driving change. Excellent communication, writing, presentation, problem solving and analytical skills. Works efficiently and independently with minimal supervision. Ability to work successfully in a cross functional team environment. Technical skills Proficiency in English and French both verbally and written Bachelor's degree in a related field. Master and PhD Degrees will be strongly considered Six or more years of relevant work experience. Experience in defining and implementing strategy in the AI/ML domain. Experience developing and implementing artificial intelligence algorithms. Knowledge and experience with modern machine learning tools Knowledge of major cloud platforms 6+ years of software development experience, including Java, Python, and API development (REST, XML, etc.). Knowledge of relational and no-SQL databases. Nuanced understanding of all phases of machine-learning development including: Large volume data analysis and cleansing, Data representation, Optimization strategies, Network design, Training, Testing, Performance analysis and evaluation methodologies. Strong mathematical background with knowledge in at least one of the following fields: statistics, data mining, operations research, econometrics, and/or information retrieval. Working knowledge of relevant software packages for statistical analyses and visualization. Potential tools include PowerBI, SQL Server, R, and Python.
