Job Description

Position Purpose: The purpose of this position is to provide effective support to the management of IT projects. The project analyst is responsible for delivering several key project artifacts, and shares responsibility and accountability with the project leadership team for the successful delivery of the project.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:

Project Planning: Leads or supports the project planning effort, including the accumulation of all project expenditure estimates. Documents the project dependencies and ensures a viable work plan is created that result in the on-time and on-budget completion of the project. Project Control: Develops or supports the creation of an effective plan for controlling the project scope, schedule and cost baseline, and monitors the project execution to ensure that the plan is being followed. Creates and effectively coordinates documentation to explain changes to the baseline, and ensures the approved changes are implemented. Maintains logs of all submitted changes and their status. Project Communications: Develops or supports the creation of an effective plan for communicating project information to the project team and to the project stakeholders. Develops written status reports, determines project status codes, and creates project review documents for senior management. Collects and documents project issues and manages their timely resolution. Collaborates with third party vendors to ensure invoice accuracy throughout the project duration. Project Risk Management: Leads or supports the definition of project risks, and the required mitigation approaches. Monitors project activities for the occurrence of risks and takes timely action to mitigate the risk. Advises project team members and stakeholders of actions required or completed Project Financials: Communicates regularly with finance team to ensure close week processes are accurate and completed in a timely manner. Proactively identify project expenses that require accruals on a monthly basis.

Experience / Knowledge Required:

Must meet minimum time in position requirements and Performance Management code of “V2” (Valued Associate - Well Positioned) 1-3 years of related experience & Bachelor Degree is preferred Experience in IT a plus
