THE ROLE

We are looking for an exceptional warehouse inventory controller to help us achieve our operating plan.

As a warehouse inventory controller, you will work as part of a dynamic and passionate team to ensure that appropriate minimum and maximum stock levels are maintained.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate deliveries to and from job sites. • Verify counts and prices on shipments. • Maintain computerized purchase order system. • Assist in product and material research for technicians. • Assist in job cost management of projects. • Conduct regular vehicle safety and inventory inspections. • Manage vehicle maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs. • Manage vehicle inventory levels. • Manage company tools maintenance, repair schedules, verify proper operation, and manage sign in and sign out through our Hilti app program. • Manage parts runner and associated performance. • Monitor staff performance to ensure that accuracy and safety goals are met. • Keep warehouse organized and clean. • Communicate clearly, show recognition, and build rapport with employees. • Monitor employee engagement levels and know how to promote a healthy and honest work environment. • Create annual budget, control expenses, and meet or exceed plan. • Shape company culture by living out agreed upon values, specifically ethics and integrity.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Proven track record in warehouse operations. • Plumbing and HVAC knowledge an asset. • Ability to inspire and lead as well as manage others to attain company goals. • Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities. • Strong verbal and written communications. • Advanced knowledge of computer systems. • Quick, sound decision-making abilities. • Ability to build trust and demonstrate empathy. • Passionate about Ashton Service Group and loves the brand. • Engaging personality that blends well with a fast-paced, goal-driven environment. • Highly motivated, flexible, and great attitude on life.
