We are currently looking for: Data Integration Specialist

Job location: This can be a remote position. You can work from home and be located anywhere in Canada.

== About the team As a key member of Kinaxis’ Corporate Information Technology team, you will be part of the IT Product Team. Our IT product team is responsible for all business systems used across the organization, how they are integrated, ensuring analytics and efficient data utilization. As a Data Integration Specialist and owner of integration platform, you will advise, lead, develop, and implement a data integration strategy.

== What you will do

• Responsible for evaluating and selecting the integration platform for the business needs
• Responsible for gathering integration requirements by working closely with the IT product team and the business units
• Implement integration solutions on the chosen platform using out of the box connectors or custom connectors
• Develop Data integration workflows using Web services in XML, JSON, flat file format, SOAP
• Provide technical operational support, administer and enhance the integration platform, and the develop custom connectors as per business needs
• Provide guidance and basic principles to various IT projects in designing the integration
• Contribute to data integration strategy

== What we are looking for

• BS or BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, or demonstrated equivalent experience
• 10 years + years of experience in the area of data and system integration
• Minimum 10 years of experience in data modelling, data design and data analysis
• Minimum 10 years of experience with database technologies – SQL, NOSQL, Oracle
• Experience working with REST/SOAP APIs
• Experience with ETL and data integration platforms like Dell Boomi, Mulesoft
• Excellent data management experience with the design, development and maintenance of enterprise level data systems
• Experience in developing integration processes
• Must have proven ability to realign priorities rapidly to meet evolving business requirements
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
